Dubai Metro has three rail based lines; Red Line, Green Line & (Orange) Tram Line
The Red Line Metro Train routes from Station (R11) ‘Centrepoint’ to (R42) ‘UAE Exchange’ with 66 stations in total. It also has an extension that routes from the station (R38) ‘Jabal Ali’ to (R76) ‘Dubai Expo’.
The Green Line Metro Train routes from Station (G11) ‘Etisalat’ to (G30) ‘Creek’ with 20 stations in total. It has an interchange with Red Line at (R19) ‘Burjuman’ station.
The Tram Line routes from ‘Jumeirah beach Residence 1’ to ‘Al Sufouh’. This line has 11 stations in total. The line also inter connects with R36 and R37 of Redline Metro.
The ticket fares of Dubai Metro starts from AED 4.00 for single zone, AED 6.00 for 2 adjacent zone and AED 8.50 for more than 2 Zones. Although the Dubai Tram has a fixed fare of AED 3 (approx. $0.82 USD) per ride, regardless of the distance traveled.
The Public Transport Agency operates a sizable fleet of 1,518 buses for public bus services. A total of 119 internal bus routes are operated by PTA, including 35 lines that connect to metro stations, 12 intercity lines that take passengers to neighbouring emirates, 62 internal lines, and 8 fast lines.

Taxis from the Dubai Taxi Corporation are a common mode of transportation in Dubai. The taxis run round-the-clock, 7 days a week, and are also available on public holidays. People can book a ride and have it delivered right to their door at their home, workplace, or anyplace else by calling 80088088 or using the DTC Smart App. Additionally helpful, the taxi offers free Internet access while you're riding.
Dubai ferry opened in 2011 and accommodate up to 100 passengers per ride. The round excursions will only depart and return if there are a minimum of 10 passengers on the trip, despite the fact that they are scheduled to run at specific times and locations.
The ferry starts from Dubai Marina, Al Gubaiba and Dubai Water Canal Marine Station. The ferry offers two or three trips per day (depends on location)
